How to watermark an image

1

Upload images

Drop up to 20 JPG, PNG, or WebP files into the browser-based batch area.

2

Design the watermark

Choose text or a logo, then adjust layout, position, size, opacity, rotation, and spacing.

3

Export the batch

Preview the result, process every image locally, and download files individually or together.

Text and logo watermarks

A text watermark is useful for copyright notices, creator names, website addresses, campaign labels, and simple ownership marks. Xepoca sizes text relative to each source image so a batch remains visually consistent even when dimensions differ.

A logo watermark preserves the proportions of your uploaded logo. Transparent PNG files usually produce the cleanest overlay, while JPG and WebP logos are also supported.

Lower opacity keeps the underlying photograph visible. A centered or tiled watermark is harder to crop away, while a corner position is less distracting for product images and portfolios.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Image Watermark tool free?

Yes. You can add text or logo watermarks without creating an account.

Are my images uploaded to Xepoca?

No. The browser reads, previews, and exports the images locally on your device.

Can I watermark multiple images at once?

Yes. The batch supports up to 20 JPG, PNG, or WebP images, with a maximum size of 25 MB per image.

Can I use a transparent logo?

Yes. A transparent PNG or WebP logo keeps its transparent areas when it is drawn over the source image.

What is the difference between single and tiled layouts?

Single places one watermark in a selected position. Tiled repeats the watermark across the full image using adjustable spacing.

Why can the output file size change?

Canvas export re-encodes the image. The output format, quality setting, source dimensions, and image content can make the finished file smaller or larger.

Does watermarking prove copyright ownership?

A visible watermark can communicate ownership or discourage casual reuse, but it is not a substitute for legal registration, licensing terms, or professional advice.
